Smokers more vulnerable to effects of COVID-19, expert says

Untruth story that says if a smokers are vulnerable from Covid-19. Health expert Yayi Suryo Prabandari of Gadjah Mada University’s School of Medicine in Yogyakarta said that, if anything, smokers were more vulnerable to the effects of COVID-19. She said that smokers, along with older adults and people with serious underlying medical conditions, had a higher risk of contracting the coronavirus compared to non-smokers. “COVID-19 patients who smoke are twice as likely to need intensive care and respiratory devices, [and they are more at risk of] of dying,” Yayi said. Covid-19 is a dangerous virus nowadays, it can attack all ages.
